W czasie okupacji Niemcy zniszczyli cmentarz żydowski w Serocku. Kazali wywieść z niego macewy. Jednak znaczna część nagrobków ocalała i po wielu latach wróciły na teren nekropolii. Teren cmentarza został też uporządkowany. Stało się to dzięki staraniom władz samorządowych Miasta i Gminy Serock
The Jewish cemetery in Serock – return of the matzevot
During the occupation Germans destroyed Jewish cemetery in Serock. They ordered matzevot to be removed. But a significant number of tombstones have survived and after many years they are back in the necropolis. The grounds of the cemetery have been also cleaned up. This has happened thanks to the efforts of the local government of the Municipal and Communal Office in Serock.
